For October
Sep. 30th, 2012 01:43 pmI realized - suddenly, abruptly, & fully - that I have nothing on my plate. No creeping events that must consume every free moment of my time. No long term projects. No classes. No commitments.
I mean, not to say that there aren't things to do. And work on. But right now I don't have anything I have to do. It's really kind of freeing.
Too bad I'm going to fix that.

I am on page 121 of this rewrite. I am a little over halfway through the plot (maybe more than that - hard to tell). I have nothing else planned or going on for the month of October (birthdays and cakes and forays with friends aside). So for the month of October, I am going to work my ass off to finish this rewrite. I'm still trying to come up with a good day-to-day way to hold myself accountable for working on it. Maybe daily LJ check-ins.
Either way, this thing needs to get finished. It's dragging on too long and I took too much of a break during wedding planning. Then I'll feel a lot better about going off on something new in November. :)
