(no subject)

It's fall! For better or for worse, now. And the sky has clouded up like it was just waiting for the calendar's approval. Things are greening up, now that the rains have returned. Because seriously, it hasn't rained since mid-August. The hike yesterday was gorgeous, despite the weather, and it only really started raining towards the end, so we didn't get too wet. Really need some waterproof hiking shoes now, though.

I like it, even though it makes me want to curl up under many blankets and drink hot things, like tea and hot cocoa. Plus now I keep thinking it's December. My inner-calendar is absolutely convinced. Doesn't help that I'm wearing my pajamas from home that mom sent me which smell like their house and therefore Christmas.

I caved and got Spore on Friday and spent most of yesterday playing it. It's so cute and delightful, at least up until the civ stage. I haven't played much of that yet because it was rather late last night when I pried myself off. I shouldn't've got it, though. I have so little time as it is. ;.;
