I plan on trying to keep the remote work until we move again, and then see where the company is at that point. The owners may or may not retire in the next two years. But they've promised I can have 3 months off for maternity leave, which is amazing, and having at-home work as a new mom will make things a bit easier, even if I have to get baby help during work hours.
71 is the coolest I've seen during the day and for some reason it's always at least 6-7 degrees warmer inside, even with all the windows open. Bless the portable a/c unit, for otherwise I would have killed someone by now.
