Life is Crazy

spryngJust put down a holding deposit on a new car.
I never ever ever thought I'd buy a new car. Let alone one straight from the factory. Zero miles! Virgin wheels! Lots of money!! Gah!!!
But it's a Subaru and they hold their value so well that the age-range we were looking at wasn't much cheaper than just getting it new. It's logical. It makes sense. But my brain still hurts.
New car isn't going to be in town for another week or so, so we can only daydream about working locks, a CD player that doesn't try to eat CDs, and shade visors that don't try to kill you.
And start thinking about names. I mean yeah, baby name is important, but car name is importanter. In the past, I've had a salt-rusted Saturn named Tim, a grandma's Toyota missing a side-view mirror and no a/c named Mildridge, and now a Hyundai with a 6 cylinder engine named Zoom. What should we name a brand new, personality-free, blue Subaru??
