In February, I was at the deepest part of my depression. That's when I realized something needed to change.

The first thing I did was go back to Crossfit, and that helped.

The second thing I did was find a therapist, and that helped too.

The third thing I did was another Whole30, which helped.

The fourth thing I did was go see a reproductive specialist, and that helped way more than I expected.

The fifth thing I did was decide I was going to leave my job as soon as possible after Dr Lady became Dr Lady and began making more money, and that helped some.

The sixth thing I did was recommit to writing most days, if not every day, and that was also surprisingly helpful.

The seventh thing I did was put in my two weeks notice, and I haven't felt better in years.

this helps me and gives me hope, also staying active can help tons. maybe i'll try my own 7 things

Staying active is helpful, but often times it takes a combination of things to really pull out of a depression. Well, sometimes. At least in my case, this time. :) Change definitely helps, if perhaps superficially - but sometimes just distracting yourself from your own dark thoughts can help you get past them.
