Start of a New Week, a New List

The chickens are doing well. Lady's been over there every day this week, checking their food and talking to them and generally making sure that despite the heat (106 most days!) they're okay. The coop itself is still not quite finished, but now it just needs some roosts instead of the ceiling and a door. So that's good.

After almost a whole month and a half, our garden has exploded. It's bizarre seeing all these plants when just two weeks ago or so, there were just the two squash. Now there's watermelon, pumpkin, amaranth, basil, and okra plants and they seem to have burst from nothing. I guess some plants just take a while (a long while!) to germinate and sprout. Hopefully this means we'll have watermelon by October. :)
I did a little more than two-thirds of my goals for last week and this week, instead of learning and trying to cut back to something more manageable, I'm going to try and step it up instead. Still trying different ways to insert more writing into each day.
Things to remember to do in the next week:
- Two evenings working just on query letters (one)(two)
- Write for every day for at least 10 minutes (Monday)(Tuesday)(Wednesday)(Thursday)(Friday)
- Commit to a story and make a plan
- Finish blog post: Hadrian's Wall lessons
- Blog post: Gaybies
- Lift twice (one) (two)
- Run thrice (
- Make lemon cake plan
- Ask for time-off for October trip
- Geschenk fur eine Freundin
- Refocus on writing!! (Limit internet farting around to a certain amount)(Come up with three ways I'm being distracted from writing)
- Watch the sunset
