And I have solid proof.

The place is called Agua Caliente, and it's a park a little outside of the city with - as the name implies - a hot-water spring. Hence a little bit of an oasis in the midst of this arid city. I have a number of photos and more on the park itself over at the blog.

In other news, we went to Penny's (of Pennywhistle Cupcakes fame - don't forget to grab yourself a cupcake!) house for her birthday party and a bit of pumpkin carving.

This one isn't ours, but it's awfully awesome. So I'll leave you with that while I go off and continue to prep for Lady's birthday this Saturday. Many secret plannings! *rubs hands in glee*

Did you read about the history of agua caliente? It's pretty funny; at one point, someone got the bright idea to expand the hot spring by dynamiting it, which then broke the rock barrier between the hot spring and a cold spring (perhaps the aquifer itself), so now it's just kind of a... lukewarm spring.

GOOD JOB, TUCSON.

Also, sweet pumpkin!

Also also, call me? About this weekend? Can Scott come, too?
