Happy autumn!

I can't believe it's nearly October - seems like September started just a few days ago. This is both awesome and a bit terrifying. On the one hand, I'm glad that this infernal heat will be lessening soon and that Halloween and all things deliciously autumn can now be enjoyed. On the other hand, I've been unemployed for two months and it's a bit scary. I've been applying left and right and still only have those two interviews to show for it, neither of which have amounted to anything. I keep thinking it could be worse - oh how it could be worse - but it's still so disheartening to keep sending job apps into what feels like an insatiable void.

My writing has also stalled a little bit, partially because of this creeping depression and partially because of being stuck home carless for the last four/five days (ironic, eh?) and partially because of Minecraft. Oh Minecraft. You and your free weekend which has eaten at my brain. Check out this cute trailer to get a feel for it, then download it and let it eat your mind. Speaking of things to do, I have some leaves to finish sewing and a story to write.
