Broken Record

In more ways than one.
Today we broke the record for hottest temp ever in Seattle. Previous record was 100, from July 1994. Sea-tac reached 103 - it got to 105 where we live. Our inside temp gauge reads 33.3C, or 92F. I can officially say, without a/c or even a fan, since every store around here is sold out, it is fucking hot.
The best part is that there was a ball game today that our CEO had bought us all tickets for. I was originally not going to go, it being over 100 already, but I heard tell that they had closed the top of the stadium. So Lady and I went and well, no, they hadn't. We had some shade for a little bit, but as soon as the sun was directly on us, we were out of there.
Right now we have the windows wide open, as much as that's helping, and I have a pack of ice under my legs. We bought a blender at Target while looking for the nonexistent fans and had yoghurt and berry smoothies for dinner.
This is the first time I actually enjoy being at work - at least there's a/c there.
