spryng: (books)
Been a little while - I haven't been so much busy as laying low, reading a lot, sleeping a lot, and eating a lot. I have family coming in two weeks, so I also need to be cleaning a lot. But that will come in time.

The gluten-free experiment has been progressing well, even though I had to turn down brown sugar poptarts from a coworker. I used to subsist off those things like crazy in Seattle and part of the time in college. They're like crack, so being able to say no was both sad and liberating.

Definitely less headaches, definitely less bloat/puff, and definitely a reversal of what had been increasingly common anxiety. Some other things haven't changed as much as I had hoped/expected, but I've still got two weeks. We shall see!

No writing has been happening - been purposefully not bringing my netbook to work and working on christmas presents on my free mornings. And I'm starting to feel it. I thought I would have been more burned out from finishing off ZA (aka MA), but apparently turning it into a daily habit for almost two straight months has left me itching in its emptiness. But I don't know what to write. :/

We received our wedding photos about a week ago, so I'm hoping to do a big ol' post here on LJ detailing all that and showing them off. They're quite gorgeous. I made a photobook for my parents, so I've looked at them all quite a few times - to the point of sickness on some - but they still hold up. That seems like so long ago, but it was only two months, wasn't it?

Need to do another book list soon - almost to the end of the year! I may indeed hit 100 books read - at least, according to Goodreads - which would be well beyond any previous year. Hooray for audiobooks!
