Today's our last long day. We made it into Montana after driving all the way through North Dakota. Very interesting state. Got a few pictures, but they don't do it justice. It was just so... empty. Fields and fields and fields and so flat that you could see them stretch away until the nearest hills. And then near Montana it was suddenly a small mountain range, as in, we rounded a corner of the now rolling hills of grain and it was rocks. Specifically the Roosevelt National Park. Or something called Badlands. And then they stopped suddenly and we were back to the same old hills. o.O So random.
And we saw buffalo! Granted, they were being raised, but they looked at us. With their eyes. And there was an elk farm as well. But mostly nearly empty roads with a 75mph speed limit. Made me wish for a speedier car.
This morning we'll be passing just north of Yellowstone and into the mountains. I should probably have charged my camera. And tonight we spend in Spokane before doing the last four hours tomorrow. Lady's already got an appointment set up with Comcast for internet at 4pm, so hopefully we'll have it tomorrow night.
This is getting rather exciting...
