1) The house passed its inspection with flying colors. There are a few very small fixes that we've asked the seller to look into, but they won't affect move-in at all. Now I'm only worried about the loan, since the mortgage contact person mentioned something in passing about underwriters being concerned re: our employment history. IE, that I've been at this job for less than a year and that Lady only has a two year contract for her new job. I really doubt that will be enough for them to not give us money, but it's enough to make me hold off on saying this is 100% yet.

2) Lady booked our moving pod yesterday. I'm surprised to say we're actually using PODs, the company. I thought since they're the well-known one, they would be most expensive, but they're actually very reasonable. We'll see how actual moving goes.

3) Hit the third trimester this week. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I'm both astounded by how fast the second trimester went and watching the clock, wondering are we there yet??.

4) I am not even remotely ready for Lady Jr to be here, but I am ready for it to be September with her arrival right around the corner. Partially because I don't want to finish packing and cleaning the apartment and I don't want to drive for five days across the country with a small bladder and two yowling cats and I don't want to scurry scurry scurry to get everything unpacked and cleaned and the internet set up etc etc etc and I just want to be moved in and done.

5) Lady Jr is seriously making her presence known. I've spent several evenings just staring at my belly, watching it undulate like a lake with a giant monster lurking just beneath the surface. It's kind of creepy, honestly. She's big enough now that I can feel her punching on one side of my stomach and kicking on the other.

6) I alternate between feeling really huge and feeling right on target. I've gained weight all over which hasn't helped, and more than I "should" by this point, but my belly is right at that "wait, is she pregnant?" size. At least, for people who don't know what a pregnant lady looks like. Idk if getting bigger will make it any easier or if I'll just continue to feel like a whale.

7) I got my first public comment this week. I was deadlifting and inbetween sets another gym-goer approached me and was like, "I hope this isn't too inappropriate, but - are you pregnant??" And I was like lol, yeah, and she sighed with relief and mentioned that she'd noticed me getting bigger and that usually people don't get bigger when they gym. Hah... oh dear. I just laughed it off, but yay having my fears about going to the gym and looking like a fat log confirmed.

8) Sleeeeeeeeeeeeep.

I wouldn't worry about the underwriting. I mean, I'm a sketchy ghost writer and they underwrote me ...at this point, if you are preapproved, and there is a pending offer in place, it is in everyone's best interest for it to go thru. they're looking for reasons to say yes, not no. i kept telling myself that and it made me feel better. i was convinced they would go through and deny me in underwriting but no, they didn't and they won't for you, either.
