This is my favorite alarm ever - it doesn't make noise, just slowly increases the brightness of the light over a period of 30min. It very rarely reaches this brightness, because I usually wake up before it.

Mornin'.

Greet cat. Accidentally take pic revealing her true nature. Drink to forget.

Shower. It's hair-cleanin' day!

Butter coffee yeeesss

A wild Dr Lady appears!

Drink coffee and journal.

Feed the

Iron my pants.

Compromise between comfy and cute.

Dr Lady preps the bikes.

Off we go!

Lock our bikes up.

Follow Dr Lady up the stairs in her building.

Her break room.

I use their nuker and eat breakfast with Dr Lady.

Then I let her go about her science and return to my bike.

Five minutes later, lock it up again outside the university library, which will be my office today.
Since it's summer, it's very quiet.

Settle in for some #amwriting.

My starting wordcount. My goal is 2k words today, so we'll see how that goes.

After about two hours I take a break and head outside.

Walk across campus...

Enter a not-so-random building...

And hang out with
I let her get back to her work after a while and return to the library.

Set up shop in a different location. There's actually people here now.

I have to go eat lunch, so I call it quits for the day. Not bad.

Eat a sandwich and read a book on the library's patio.

Sandwich consumed, I grab my bike and head downtown for a dentist appointment.

No cavities! *high fives*
Grab my bike from where I parked it next to the new county center (aka my ex-workplace).

Stop at the library (not the university) and pick up some holds on the way home.

Lookit those mountains. ;.;

Oh god it's hot tho. I collapse onto the floor in a puddle of sweat.

When I can get up again, I make myself an electrolytes drink.

Then I spruce up my professional twitter account and wordpress blog, making them more presentable, becaaaaaauuusssseeee

Hover near the window, checking to see if my wife has arrived at the gate yet, and decide to go ahead and make the coffee.

I write out my to-done list while I wait, which is like a to-do list, but so much better. Today was more productive than I thought!

It's a Dr Lady!

She's just as dehydrated and hot as I was.

And she brought me my contract, which I had asked her to print so I could sign and mail in ASAP. You can read more about the fulfillment of a dream and the beginning of my writing career over on my main LJ, but here's a link to the specific entry explaining what signing a contract with a literary agent means.

Cuddle up to Dr Lady and internet and watch some random The Daily Shows.

Then we head out again because we are NEVER DONE.

Actually we're just checking on a friend's house.

Pets, to be more accurate.

Head home.

Shower for a second time because biking = sweating, + dry heat = salty crust. Cat is very insistent on pets.

I barely manage to read a chapter before falling asleep.
G'night!
