Mornin'.

Time check.

Make coffee.

Set out our foods for the day.

Pack up work clothes.

Wild Dr Lady emerges and packs up as well.

We have a few extra minutes, so I journal.

Can't leave without feeding the

Darjeeling is startled out of the kitchen by the wind or an existential crisis or the looming threat of climate change, so we feed her in the living room.

Then we head to our new/old Crossfit gym. They haven't changed a bit, except for their sign.

Today's workout is front squats! Working towards our one rep max (1RM).

Also a bunch of jump rope, kettle bell swings, cleans, and rowing. Awful sweaty after.

I clean up as best I can.

As does Dr Lady.

Time check. A/C blast.

Drop Dr Lady off at the lab.

Head to work myself. New building. Now I can take the stairs.

But the scenery is... eh.

Set up at my desk. Clock in.

Then slink to the break room to eat breakfast. We're not allowed to eat at our desks anymore. Unless it's candy. Which kind of makes my head hurt.

On the positive side, the break room has nice windows.

More work. *yawn*

Harass my coworkers.

Lunch time! Back down the stairs.

Go to the library and write.

Swing by the Old Courthouse on the way back, where we used to work. It's probably going to be converted into a museum now instead of used for government offices.

I don't really feel like lunch yet, so I have a snack.

Then I have my exit interview, which mostly consists of remembering what I will have to turn in on Friday.

When I return, my coworker steals my camera.

She plays with some stuff on my desk and takes pictures of it.
She also takes several pictures of me.

A little more work happens, then I go stare out the break room window again. Clouds are a-formin'.

It's finally time to go home! Time check.

Hover outside the lab, waiting for Dr Lady.

Darjeeling welcomes us home.

Dinner for me is an egg over leftover salad. Aaand an oreo.

And I hurry up and throw together a 50-page packet for an agent who requested it. Yay - now up to four requests on my query letter.
Pack up for D&D.

As usual, my character manages to screw things up.
Come home, take magnesium. Metformin apparently depletes magnesium, which I've been noticing lately.

Dr Lady's chillin' like... well, herself.

Too tired for much, I set up my bedside water and pill and go to bed. Good night!
