Mornin'.

Make some coffee.

Check the weather.

Check the internet.

Read about my brother's news. Cry.

A wild Dr Lady appears!

So I decide to make us breakfast. Look at these adorable eggs. Just look at them.

Breakfast.

A wild

Get dressed.

Tidy up.

Pack up.

Head down the stairs! But not to leave, not yet.

No, just to deposit recycling.

Back inside to grab our stuff for real.

Now we're leaving.

Catch the tram.

Arrive at the train station.

Check for our train.

Wait for our train.

It arrives!

On the train.

Some of us sleep.

Off the train.

A new city!

After we get train tickets for the next day, I acquire my new favorite soda.

We head out to find our next Air BnB. Find a bee hotel. Not quite what we were looking for.

Already kind of falling in love with Dijon. Look at those buildings! Trees!

That arch!

They even have a bee festival! OMG.

But we need to find our place first.

Catch the tail end of more than a few markets.

Then we meet up with our Air BnB host, get the key, and drop off our stuff in the most adorable studio apartment ever.

So tiny!!

We head out again because we've only got the ONE DAY to see all of Dijon.

As we soon realize, ONE DAY is not enough time at all.

We go in search of food first.

Mmm, not really what we're looking for.

This will do.

After lunch, first stop: one of the many mustard shops with free samples. Om nom nom.

Head back out and begin looking for little owls in the ground.

These guys form a do-it-yourself walking tour of the town.

The pastries in so many windows are rather distracting, though....

Oh and look at those fruits...

This is definitely part of the tour.

Take a break for ice cream.

Tiramisu gelato = the best thing in the world

Every city we've been in so far (Geneva, Lyon, Dijon) has bikes for rent all over the place. It's a pretty cool system.

We're still following the owls! This one indicates a place of interest.

Which I have a feeling is this church.

The owls bring us by our apartment, so we drop in for a quick break.

Then it's onwards!

See more gorgeous buildings. But mostly our feet start to hurt.

So we stop into the grocery store to get some wine for the night and some snacks for the trip tomorrow.

We go a little further because I insist.

Then I let them chill while I run off to investigate the park.

Turns out to be worth investigating!

We stop by a bakery on the way home for some bread. I oogle the treats.

Baguette for the next day, croissants for now, and super cookies, which are delicious.

Open the wine and just chill.

Dr Lady and

Shower now because there definitely won't be time the next day. Our train back to Geneva leaves at 6.20am. Gah.

Little more chilling, now inside.

Turn the couch into a bed.

Assemble my necessities next to the bed.

Good night

Good night.
