- It's that time of year in the desert when it's actually quite nice out. I've begun migrating outside instead of holing up within the library for my breaks. Helps that I've figured out where all the wifi corners are. :3

- Never finished the edits on GW, but I'm okay with that. I'll finish it at some point. Probably in December, when I'm making gingerbread.

- Instead, I've been working on MA's synopsis and pecking at a new story that is so fresh I have absolutely no idea where it will go. So, basically, the fun, exhilarating part. It could be anything. It could go anywhere! I'm pretty sure it's YA, though. I guess I have been influenced by all the YA I've been reading after all. >> We'll see. There's lots of blood already, though, so that's promising.

- Been reading all of the fertility books. So if you're my friend on Goodreads, I do not apologize. But it will end soon. If you're my friend IRL, then I also do not apologize, because I will share with you ALL THE INFO, because that shit be freaking awesome.

- Keep waffling on how much to talk about our slow but sure ramp up to babydom. On the one hand, I'm keen to stay mum because eww cervical fluid, but on the other hand, when has that ever stopped me? I'm more and more realizing that wearing my emotions on my sleeve is just how I do things, as is sharing things as they crop up. No wonder I'm so bad at surprises. You would think it would be easy for me because I can be such a good liar, but the key is - I'm only good at lying when it doesn't matter.

- The continuing trend of stores opening of Thanksgiving pisses me right off. Rawr.

- Lady made soap out of our collected kitchen fats the other night. It's still curing, but I think it's pretty awesome that we can finally do something with all our leftover bacon fat.

- Damn it's nice out.
