spryngI started another tumblr now that Cactopodes is fin under my other handle, speckofawesome. Tumblr is just a little less daunting than a blog, so I'm using it right now for motivation.
I decided last night (or the night before) that I need to stop beating myself up so much. Not that that can happen overnight, so instead I am focusing on telling myself the sort of encouraging things I would tell anyone else going through what I am and celebrating all of my tiny progresses. Yeah, it's a little touchy-feely therapist-tastic, but fuck you if you think it's weak. And yes, that's exactly what I'm saying to myself, too.
Because I've been too depressed lately and too down and too self-sabotaging. Shit ain't gonna change if I don't change it first. So let's change some shit.
In non-self-emotional news, this appraiser class is causing my brains to leak out of my ears. Seriously. Peeps can't figure out how to measure a freaking triangle. Arrggghg.
