A Day in the Life

In lieu of thoughts, I'm just going to give you a list. So this is what I've done today:
- Woke up at 4:30, fed the cats, brewed first pot of coffee.
- Caught up on the news while growing increasingly incensed that anyone would take Santorum seriously, let alone enough to allow him nigh front-runner status.
- Woke up the Lady. Handed her coffee. Proceeded to brew second pot of coffee.
- Made breakfast - sauteed sweet potatoes and eggs.
- Harassed the cats.
- Got ready for the day, saw Lady off to school and SCIENCE.
- Walked to the post office, UPS store, and Trader Joe's in order to mail an STD to my cousin in Belgium, deposit some checks (USAA totally does deposits at the UPS store), and pick up some dry fruit. Round trip was just shy of four miles.
- Tried to eat liver and onions. Gagged down half a piece before giving up. Ate some chocolate pudding instead, mostly to get rid of the terrible taste.
- Harassed the cats.
- Read entirely too much internet for entirely too long and took a very unnecessary nap.
- Woke up panicked about having possibly missed work, only to remember I'm not working until tomorrow.
- Decided I really wanted to try making those vanilla cupcakes again. Only a smaller batch and maybe not gluten free.
- Made cupcakes.
- Burned finger.
- Checked my email and chatted up Lady, in the middle of which I got an email from the charter school and
- Proceeded to panic some more because: DEMO CLASS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. OMG. Oh, and an interview with everyone in the school ever. No pressure or anything.
- Harassed the cats.
- Had some spaghetti squash and chicken. Tried to add in tiny slivers of liver. Still nasty.
- Decided to write an LJ post.
- Wrote an LJ post.
