spryng | Days of Awesome

It has been a gorgeous week so far. We started this week out with a trip up Mt Lemmon, which did more for my soul than I'd expected. I'm still sitting on those photos (this week has been busier than expected!), but the blast of autumn and the sight of birch trees turning colors was a welcome sight. Missing out on the Pacific NW autumn is easily the hardest part of living here for me. Yes, it even trumps being unemployed.

Which! Speaking of which! I had an interview with a temp agency on Monday (yay!) and I have an interview with Target for three (yes three!) different positions on Friday! (yay cubed!) One is sales floor, one is electronics, and one is building bikes. So if I don't get one, I should hopefully get one of the others. Due, however, to being interviewed a number of times before elsewhere and not getting the proffered job, I am not going to let my hopes get up. Even though it feels that, with my experience and vast reserves of adorability, it should be a given. But nothing is a given in this economic environment.

But! As you can see above, I had the awesome opportunity to do a product shoot for

malanai's up and coming cupcake shop. And I can say personally that her red velvets are delicious. I already have a post scheduled for Tuesday on Skai Photography detailing the deliciousness and adding in a few more of my faves. So check in. :D
