spryngFor once I didn't get my breaking news from Fark last night - I got it off my friend's page, my FB, and even my Lady. It was like a collective sigh of relief when the health insurance reform bill passed. I mean, it's not what it needs to be and there're still more hurdles to pass, but damn, that felt like finally getting the boulder to the top of the hill. Here's a quick list of what it immediately affects, the most pertinent being that you can no longer be dropped for a condition. Darn straight.
Meanwhile, I'm at Step 8 of the N Steps to Self-Embetterment and (Eventual) World Domination, which is working on a proposal to give to my employers for working part time off-site. I like the idea of knowing I'll still have an income when we move, yes I do.
