Feb. 14th, 2010 09:19 pmI love all of you. <3
For Bull Moose Day, Lady was originally going to make me scones and tea. Then I stumbled on this place somehow and found that they have something called tea service. That is, they give you scones, tea sandwiches, tea cookies, fruit, and a pot of tea. Zomg. It was awesome. And cute. And adorable. And I love having a thing who also thinks it's the top of the shizz to go out and get scones + tea + cookies + fruit.
Plus, she made scones anyway, so we ended up having scones and tea twice in one day. Awesome. Second scones were actually superior to first scones; these were lemon-lavender with cream she made herself and scrumptious strawberries. And before all of this, we went to the Arboretum for the first time and squished through mud and marveled at all of the budding life. Gods, I love spring. This is my second one and I'm so pleased to have a dSLR this time around.
And some of the tulips I got for Lady yesterday, which prompted a full-apartment cleaning to boot. When I told mom that I had to clean the apartment because I'd bought flowers, she laughed at me.
On an unrelated note, I've only got about 11 days left of Lightroom and I am so hooked. Seriously. That program is fantastic. And probably making me a very lazy photographer.
