spryngQuick update, because the idea of a long update has been rather dissuasive. Been working a lot the last few days (and Sunday) to make up for going to AZ tomorrow and Friday. Kind of excited, even though we'll only be there for one day and Lady will be pretty busy most of the time.
What is more exciting, though, is that Lady has an interview with OR at the end of the month. OSU is the place we were both excited about to begin with and the one with the most opportunities for Lady. Since it's apparently only a four hour drive, I'll be going with her.
She goes to Michigan next week - we haven't heard back from Riverside, Davis or Ohio State yet, but that's all right.
Been failing miserably at my writing goals (although I switched stories last night and churned out more in a half hour than I'd written total on the other one in two weeks - go fig), but I made my reading goal for January. Finished Accelerando and Breathers (and two photography books which totally count), on All You Need is KILL, which I got for free quite a few months back. Maybe I can do some summaries later today. Not this morning. Time for work already. How is that, when I get up so early?
