spryng | (no subject)

I am really loving having autofocus on the 50mm f1.8 lens. That was such a pain trying to focus manually only to find out I'd focused on something slightly behind the subject when I got home and downloaded the images. It was, needless to say, mildly infuriating, and I ended up just not using the 50mm. But now, I can!

We went to Snohomish today to pick up some tea for Lady. Yes, that's right. I first got her addicted to coffee, and now I have her addicted to tea and picking out her own. The weather is still wonderfully above average for winter and the clouds only pulled through towards the afternoon. Made for excellent light. Also made for an excellent view of snow-drenched Mt. Rainier, my very favorite volcano.

Tonight is a night of cleaning and a night of writing, because I'm about two days behind in word count and the apartment is a mess. Plus, taking down of the tree and cleaning up the holiday decorations. Now is the time for lights and lots of them.
