I had a lot of fun today. Got up at 5:30am so I could get out early with my camera and play with it. It still surprises me how light it is that early in the morning. And how many other people appear to have the same idea as I do. Not as many as did in FL, but still. Do you really have to play frisbee golf at 6am? Really?
Anyway. Lady and I went to Discovery Park with my camera in tow and I took way too many pictures. Such an awesome camera. Really, I'll stop effusing about it everywhere soon enough. I think I just didn't realize it'd make such a big difference. So, yes. Park and many pictures, the good ones up on facebook. Lots of critter photos and if anybody needs pictures of bees, I have tons of those as well. Lady kept asking me to take pictures of the bees she found. After DP we went to the locks to see if there were any more fish at the fish ladder and yes, there were. Huge buggers this time, as well as tons of tourists. I snapped the obligatory photo for dad and then we vamoosed. Pho next, including overlooking the "cash only" sign and having to walk a few blocks to the nearest ATM. Whoops.
We came home and took a very long nap, followed by brownies and X-files. We're on season five now and I'm recognizing most of the episodes again. I think season six is the last season I saw on TV and shortly after that I vaguely remember hearing that it goes downhill.
Tomorrow will be more messing around with the camera. I think I might try and read some more of the manual tonight.
