Dr. Who makes everything better
Nov. 25th, 2008 10:06 pmIt's really rather true that a shitty day is led by a shitty mood. I mean, not that shitty days don't also destroy good moods, but at least it's easier to laugh at your mistakes.
Work is just grinding right now. It's the days before a four-day weekend, so everything kinda piles up towards Wednesday like a train wreck. I tried to do damage control ahead of time, but then things just started popping up left and right as they're wont to do. And since it's a four-day weekend, Wednesday is like three Fridays in one, and almost every single Friday since September has something go horribly wrong. So I'm going to go ahead and bet that the entire system goes down in the morning for a few hours. Plus, it doesn't help that there were whispered promises made of possibly getting out early - every time someone even mentions that potential things explode.
So on top of a hectic day I was also in a shitty, hormonal mood and have been sitting next to the most negative people ever who constantly go "AARGH" over the littlest things and call everyone stupid and frankly, sitting next to them causes me stress. Maybe I should just bring my iShuffle tomorrow to drown out their inevitable groans and moans of frustration. Oh my. That's not quite what I meant there...
So in short, I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO BE THURSDAY, but I also realize I'll be paying for those two days off tomorrow. Oh god.
...hey, at least I'm at 47k with my NaNo. ^-^
