spryngShaw got the job!
That is, the visiting Greek professor whom everyone loves and adores and who was also one of the candidates brought in for the search for a new Greek professor will continue to be our professor, now officially the assistant classics professor. Woot! Which means I have my third bacc committee member, which means I can finally turn in the form to make my AOC languages/classics, which means I can also endlessly pester him about any Greek that I'm having troubles with that is connected to my thesis. This is very excellent.
In other news, classes are going great and having something I have to do every day again is putting my butt in gear for getting other work done, so last night I was able to just sit down and hash out what I think my thesis is about. And I'm getting closer. This latest revision allows for the first two chapters to remain pretty much untouched, at least. Woot. Also got a small pep talk from Dr. Clore on the way to class which helped a lot. Just need to write. I'll worry about whether or not I'm right later.

Date: 2008-02-07 04:59 pm (UTC)I don't know. o.o I have the least amount of work to do for school as well as not working on Sunday/Monday, but if you wanted to time your visit for a weekend, I'm taking off the weekend of the 22nd because a friend I met in Russia is coming to visit then. Yarr.
