Thoughts on a Lunch Break, XIV

- BABY GOATS
- BEES BEES BEES
- I am currently eating up all the information I can get my hands on about farming, homesteading, chicken keeping, cheese making, et cetera. It's a lot like eating whipped cream from one of those aerosol cans. n the one hand, it's amazing and delicious and you're all like MORE MORE MORE. On the other, it only dissolves so fast in your mouth and at some point you actually have to, you know, close your mouth and eat it. But first you want to see how much you can get in your mouth, until it's pillowing up on top like a crazy cloud of frothy, sugary, deliciousness and - wait, what was I talking about?
- BERRY ORCHARD
- CHICKENS
- ALL THE KALE. ALL OF IT.
- Trying to refocus on querying MA and getting my work out there. I need to keep reminding myself that persistence is key. I am stubborn. I should use that to my advantage. Last time I stopped querying, it was because everyone wanted a synopsis, so my first step in getting back in is writing that damn synopsis. Harder than a query letter, I swear.
- SWEET POTATOES
- BEEEEEES
- Apparently one's farm can focus mostly on bees and you can then sell queens + bee populations to beginner beekeepers and cull bee swarms from unwanted places, like parks and homes, and keep them (and their sweet [sweet] honey) all to yourself.
- There are so many different kinds and varieties of farm out there, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around any one model.
- I'm also having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of turning 27 in (almost!) a month. For some reason, I've been convinced I'm 28 since January, so at least I won't feel like I'm too old. ;)
- I want visible abs for my birthday.
- BEES
- That is all.
