Things that Happened Today
Aug. 18th, 2012 09:21 pm1) We saw cows and an overly gorgeous sunrise on our morning book walk.
2) Our book walk was not so much a book walk as a griping about Kentucky and its inability to understand evolution is a real thing.
3) Lots of walking around the mall, searching desperately for orange shoes for Lady for the wedding.
4) Picked up the package which contained my brilliantly awesome red shoes for said wedding.
5) Ordered a slab of sugar-free bacon from the sausage shop. BACON.
6) Wrote.
7) Went to Bookman's. Salivated over their uke collection.
8) Shopped for groceries.
9) Weighed the pro's and con's of using our Bookman's credits for a uke. Pro: Ukulele! Con: Ukulele.
10) Eventually found our way back to Bookman's.
11) Lady bought me the uke for my birthday.
12) Am now trying to figure out the most-fitting name for my uke, while tuning and learning chords.
