Late Morning
Aug. 9th, 2009 02:24 pmWow, I haven't slept in past eight for probably almost a year. I stayed up much too late last night and it's cloudy and misty this morning, which always messes with my internal alarm clock.
Yesterday was a good day. It was a day filled with blueberries and lavender, which is pretty hard to beat in my book.

Afterward we went to a lavender farm where you could cut your own lavender. It's a bit late in the season for lavender, but it still smells amazing. There were also a horde of bees; bumblebees, honey bees and some sort of bee-like fly. Lady was too entranced by the bees to help cut the lavender, which is one of the reasons I love her so much. I wish I had taken my camera with me then. Tja, next time.
Today is for making gnocchi, eating cupcakes, going on walks, and writing. Here's to a good Sunday.
