Dec. 18th, 2008 06:24 amIt's snowing again. After much anticipation and a day later than predicted. I love how horribly inaccurate all the weather forecasters seem to be. First it was, "zomg Tuesday night at 10pm!" Then pushed to 12am. Then 3am. Then early morning. Then noon. Then early afternoon. Then right before everyone gets off of work, then seven, ten, midnight, and I think it actually started snowing around 2am. x.x How hard can it be? Really?
Either way, boss-boss-lady gave us her email and direct line and told us to call if we couldn't get to work (because it's supposed to snow 3in!!1 zomg!!!1). And everyone really was freaking out about it at work yesterday. "Snow!!" "Omg it's snowing?!?!?" "Just kidding." "Don't frighten me like that!"
Fairly amazing. Granted, I'll give them the hills and ill-preparedness for icy roads, but still.
In other news, Christmas in a week. I've got one more package to take to the post office today (sorry Benni! It might be a little late - I was trying to find a bigger box). Things to get for lady still. Hmm. Got a few ideas, but not really. And in two weeks my parents will be here. ^^ I managed to get off of work for most of that week and have been training someone to fill my shoes, even though there probably won't be anything to do. I mean, I'm well through to next Wednesday and absolutely can't work ahead anymore, so...
Things in the head are better. The headache finally relented, although echoes of it's madness come back every once in a while. I'm much less crabby and angry. Yay!
Time to go take a look at this "snowpocalypse."
