Aug. 24th, 2008 05:18 pmWe got a futon today. ^-^ It's a light brown with a black metal frame. Hopefully we'll have pictures soon. The living room's still a bit of a mess, but man, it's so nice to finally have a couch.
Yesterday we went hiking. We attempted to go to Coal Creek Park, which is south of Bellevue, but ended up walking along Red Town trail instead, since CCP was closed due to recent weather damage. This hike was actually what I'd been expecting the first to be like - relatively easy with a few uphill climbs and some awesome views, but also rather secluded and with some random animal sightings. The only problem was that we were expecting Red Town to be a much more populated and easier hike than that. xp It was great, although we were edging along a cliff edge at one point and took the wrong trail so we ended up not knowing where we were going or how much further it was to get back, or even if we were heading the right way. Did twice as long a hike as we originally thought we were going to, too. BUT, we saw a flying squirrel and a steller's jay and Mt. Rainier and we were both rather tuckered out by the end of it.
End of the weekend now. Rather a shame, but at least next weekend we get Monday off. Thanks to me, of course. ^-^
Edit: Futon!
