End of January

It's almost the end of ISP and my supposed thesis cranking time and all I've managed to accomplish is to learn Gothic and translate almost half of Luke, but come no further on figuring out what to do for the third chapter - ie, defining what exactly my thesis is about - or work on the other two. I've put off fixing the other two by rationalizing that they'll be easier to direct and streamline when I know what my third chapter is on, but then I can't seem to figure that out. And then I freak out because what if I have to trash what I have when I do figure it out? So I keep translating, hoping an answer will come. So far I have two very linguistic ideas, but they don't tie into what I originally wanted, which was Latin-Gothic interaction. There's so much more Greek-Gothic interaction, but I don't know Greek well enough. ;.; So I start going over my Greek again, but still not actually getting anywhere.

Wow, I really want more coffee... I think after finishing this update I will brew some and take up Story's offer of working in Sudakoff. I really don't want to go to the library and I'd feel obliged to buy something if I went to the 4winds. Even though every time I go I manage almost four hours of work. o.o

So a week... my goals for the following week are my goals for the month: find a topic for the third chapter, finish translating Luke, review Greek, flesh out the first two chapters, and maybe start on the third. That's a lot, but if I actually do work instead of farting around online I can do it. I need to do it. I want to be done with this before April, right? I -can- do it. I just wish there were more articles about the language that weren't from before 1940. x.x Latin-Gothic, Latin-Gothic, there was a Bible with both, right, suggesting bilingualism, but why does nobody even write about that??
