My usual camera is in the shop for cleaning, so this is a special phone- and netbook-camera edition of DITL. I apologize in advance for the excessive pixelation.




Stumble into the kitchen and start the coffee.



It's not easy getting a morning hair shot with a computer.



Weigh myself. Lady and I have a pact to both lose 5lbs by October. I was doing well until I sat in class all last week. :/



Shoooower.



Light a candle when I get out. It's that time of year.



Then I make my deeeelicious coffee. Butter plus a wee bit of coconut oil plus a dash of cinnamon and vanilla...



Blend it all together...



Yum! Lots of tasty fat keeps me full until 10am most days, making a sort of intermittent fast a lot easier.



Try to wake up Lady. First attempt is unsuccessful, so I pile clothes from the dryer on her.



Feed sharks cats.



Internet.



Make a to-do list.



Lady is finally awake and cats finally get pets.



Have some greens and meatballs and a dollop of dijon for breakfast.



Blurrily put away laundry.



Then get dressed and get the bikes ready for a trip.



Time to switch to the phone's camera! I'm surprised by how much better quality it is vs my netbook. Or maybe I shouldn't be surprised?



It may be humid, but it's still a gorgeous day for biking.






Stop for water before getting off the Rillito and heading south.



Set up in a coffee shop for a few hours to do some work, mostly editing.



Then we drop by the chickens.



Change their water, fill their food, grab their eggs, but most importantly: find them some grubs.



The ladies go absolutely crazy for grubs.



Not so crazy for us sticking a hand under them to grab the eggs, tho.



Head back home. Already the sky is clouding up.



We've had so much rain this monsoon season. It's completely cleaned out and reshaped the river.



Home again.



I text the photos I took to pennywhistle so she can email them to me, since I can't do that myself.



Make lunch. Zucchini and cauliflower and bacon and beer. Yes.



This cat.



Do some more edits.



Take a nap.



Internet redux.



Have a cute moment on the sofa.



Make a grocery list.



Lady cleans up the kitchen. <3



I go out to check the mail.



Take a selfie for pennywhistle when I get back. 57 days and counting!



Kona wants to head out, too!






Our date night includes heading to the mall.



And then heading back out again. After maybe purchasing some candles. And after maybe sniffing all the candles.



Also stop and get some amazing cider. And take blurry photos.



Drop by the grocery store while we're out because sure.



Phone camera just doesn't do these clouds justice. That doesn't stop me from trying.



Stop by our friend Doug's place to grab her package and hide it inside, since she'll be out of town for another day or so.

Home again with groceries.



Lady really likes apples. Also she keeps stealthily taking photos of herself every time I leave the room.



Groceries put away! Counters cleaned off!!



Next task: the living room.



So much better!



Have some fancy cider. Angry Orchard's Strawman - it is SO GOOD.



Continue reading a friend's WIP, making nonsensical comments as I go.



Feed the sharks cats.



Then join Lady on the couch to keep reading/editing friend's WIP. Actually, we're both reading the same WIP together.



I stay up way too late to finish said WIP. Then brush teethies.



And go to bed. Good night!
