I signed up for the 5k race tomorrowtoday. And I still cannot decide if this is a really bad idea or a really good idea.
Oh the one hand, I know I can run 3 miles. On the other, I've only run 3 miles twice now. But it's so much better than what I could do in high school, which was about a mile and then some walking and jogging. I'm really hoping I can finish without walking, and even possibly finish at a decent rate. Banking on the excitement carrying me along.
Sometimes, crossfit and all its strength training continues to amaze me. I thought I was the fittest I could ever be in HS and that if I couldn't run then, I'd never be able to run. Wow, I was wrong. :)
Okay, off to be both terrified and excited!
