spryngI don't have anything overarching and deep to chatter on about, but I do have a few smaller things. To the list!
- The cats are getting bigger - I need to do another kitty photoshoot this weekend. Kona's visibly much larger than Darj' now, and I've been teasing her for being fat, but I think she's just hit her growth spurt first.
- NaNoWriMo! I decided to do the short story thing and today is day 4, and short story 4. So far it's been going pretty well, although these little self-contained monsters are taking a ton more time than just banging out 2k usually takes. I'm kind of glad I'm still working the job I'm at, so I have the time throughout the day to do this. Not sure I'd be able to try this experiment if I were, say, working retail or studying for classes.
- The scale this morning had a number on it that I have not seen since... well... I don't even remember, which places it before middle school. This is weird on so many levels, but also kind of exhilarating, in all senses of the word. I'm hesitantly hopeful that I can reach 145, which has always seemed so impossibly unattainable. It's so strange eating so much on this diet, only to find out that I'm still losing weight. If I didn't know better, I'd suspect tape worms.
- Jobs: I has two now. The photo studio is training me and now I'm juggling that training schedule with my current, full-time job. It means a handful of 11 hour days, but I can handle that for a short time. I'm still waiting to hear back from the county re: the tutor job. Want it!
- Life: is good. Although I think the decreased daylight has been bringing back some of my anxiety. I have been increasingly more averse to going out and doing things because something might happen. At least I've finally recognized it for what it is and now I can stop and think things over logically when it flares up. I may also have to decrease my caffeine consumption again - chest pains are not fun. :(
- Lady's sister has still not become unpregnant. My bet was on today, so we shall have to see if I'm an aunt-in-unlaw by the end of the day. Excitement!
