Lots of odd dreams lately. I blame the lack of an all-consuming thesis. Been writing, too. I need to develop a daily habit of it if I'm ever going to be serious about this. But I'm just so lazy.

Days plod by and now we've only got five weeks to go. I'd better put in my notice at work soon and also actually start planning the trip. I imagine we'll need five days, so it looks like either the last Sunday or Monday of July right now. Five days because google says a straight drive is 48 hours, so actually... maybe even longer than five days. Since we intend to stay at my grandparent's for a little bit, and lady's family's as well. Hmm. Like I said, needs actual planning. This is going to be a very long, demanding, but damn interesting road trip. Thankfully we'll be taking lady's car, which has a cd player. Otherwise I'd probably go crazy.

But we have an apartment! For real! Our applications went through and I just need to email her today to re-affirm the lease length and something else which I can't quite remember...

If you're curious (or interested), this is the website of the apartment complex. I wish they had pictures without furniture, because they really are quite large and nice.

Need to start looking and applying for jobs real soon. Why does time go so fast?

Very nice apartments! :O And super-expensive to me; are apartments commonly priced like that in other cities? I'm just curious, since this was one area I was looking into... XD; I haven't done much actual research yet, though.

Seattle's rather expensive. Under 1k/mo is actually pretty cheap. Although there are cheaper apartments out there, just not as nice, obviously. We found some for 800/mo, but not many. And further out from the actual city I think there were some nice 700/mo ones, but we really wanted to be closer than that.

Ohhh ok, that makes sense. :D We're able to find some decent 600-700/m apartments around where I live, but they aren't close to a "major" city or metro area, and that might be why. XD;

Congrats! Which floor plan do you have? There appear to be several different ones there. They all look very nice, though. Also, you should come visit me in my apartment some time before you leave!

1C - the smallest one. And it really isn't that small. We didn't see the actual room, because the person is just now moving out, but the one she did is pretty close to that floor plan.
I want to come visit! Maybe if I can get my car checked out. It's been vibrating a lot - while idling and accelerating and the exhaust is kinda half hanging on so long vibrating trips seem like a bad idea right now. ;.;
