Take a deep breath, and maybe drink a smoothie, and relax. You are making huge advances on your thesis and you have been working hard all semester. You're gonna be okay. Second week of April is pretty soon, but think of it this way: you'll be so engrossed in your topic that you'll remember what you're working on, and once your bacc is over with, that's like a month you'll have where you don't actually have to give a damn about -anything-. You'll be -free-. Really free.

Also, I'm going to upload what I have of the Catullus, and I probably won't be skipping any more classes this semester, so if you want to skip, go ahead and do it. Unless my alarms all die, I will cover whatever we do in class, and you don't have to worry about it so much.

About the midterm: David says it will be a couple poems, and maybe some sight-reading. He says the final (at the end of the year) will be poems, possibly sight, and a short essay (1-2 written pages) on Catullus from the reading. Which, since I haven't done all of that, I'll probably be working with Anya to write up summaries of what's in there. So don't let that spazz you out, either, okay?

*thumbs up* And if you need de-spazzing or a chance to rant to another thesis student, Tuesdays I'm free after class and I've still got cash on my Four Winds card. If you ever want to relax over a coffee or smoothie or whatever, I'll treat you. Just remember you're homefree after you bacc and have your library copy ready. Then you can get your David costume together and start practicing your Rohrbacherisms.
