May. 3rd, 2011 09:44 pmOh gosh, I seem to be back to updating only once a week again. Quick, prompt me!
But really, you're better off for it. I've had my nose to the revision stone and I am not pulling that bloody stump of a nose back until I get. this. thing. done.
And I'm so close, so very very close.
I aim to reach page 112 (or probably 120) by the end of the week, then let it sit for a few days before going back and combing it over for consistency and visuals and clunky wording. And then to my betas. My wonderful, delicious, soon-to-be-full-of-cupcakes betas.
And then I will resist the urge to throw myself into another project (zombie assassins, anyone?) and put lots of time and effort into the query letter. Then I will be thoroughly sick of this project.
Life otherwise has been dull, because everything has had to be shoved aside for worky-work, internship-work, and revising, so that I have enough time for all three. Oh, and inevitable afternoons full of nothing but whining, of course. Gotta keep those in there.
I promise to be less dull in a week.
