It's been a bit of a roll this morning. Temps in the area dipped well below freezing (i.e. around 18 in our area, and for a pretty extended period of time) and stayed that way well into the morning. So naturally, since no one here is prepared for that sort of thing, there are burst pipes everywhere and many, many people without water due to an issue with the city's electronic monitoring system. That plus an issue with the gas line makes for an exciting and busy morning at the office.
It's times like these I'm glad that I had a brief stint up north where I could acquire proper attire for this weather. If this were FL, I'd be so SOL.
So, insert natural transition here.
Day 16 - Your views on mainstream music
I don't much have of a view on mainstream music. It's pretty much like mainstream anything, really. I like some of it, not most of it, and it's usually rather bland. As for it's artistic merit, or it's cultural value, mainstream anything is a reflection of our culture and values, so it has merit in that. It's fun sometimes to look at something and try to dissect why so many people like it. Like the DaVinci Code, for example. Utter drivel, but there's a reason people like it.
