Well, I've finally unlocked a variety of other colors. Which is where I'd been heading all along, but somehow work and things happened and in the past week I finally got a bug in my bonnet to finish them. They're not quite done... I'm still going to try and fix up the autumn one a little, since it was the first I did and that shows. That and I can't figure out how to fill out summer a little more. You know, that one with nothing but grass and things that look like fireflies but are supposed to be bees...? Yeah. What do you think? Does it need anything? If so, what?
Mmm, now that these are done I'm itching to keep painting. Never painted before. This medium is kinda more fun than I'd expected. A lot more forgiving than my previous mediums of margins + pen and colored pencils. Hahah. Not that I'll ever even remotely attempt to be serious at artistry, but it'd be nice to have more things for the walls...
Yus. Halloween tomorrow! Or Samhain, to some of us. I'm sorta inbetween, not being a religious sort anymore, but more of a um, naturalist? As in, I'm pretty much an atheist, but I like following along with the seasons and nature and whatnot. Dunno. Fnord. Either way, it's only going to get darker for the next month and a half and be that because the sun god has died or because the earth's axis is tilting away from the sun, it still means it's going to be nice to have some extra lights up.
