Day Six
That moment of utter despair when you wake upon the sixth day and still have a fever.
We broke down yesterday and went to a walk-in clinic. I specifically picked one I'd had good interactions with in the past. But apparently three years is too long, because the doctor we dealt with was dismissive and condescending. Dr Lady is still upset at how the doctor treated me, which is good because I don't have the energy. I just, you know, thought that five days of a constant fever was something to be concerned about.
Anyway, the doctor at least took some blood, so we'll find out whether or not this is an infection instead of a virus.
