Lady somehow woke up before me - this is a DITL first!

She administers pills. We might have split a bottle of wine and watched one of the Twilight movies to great confused hilarity the night before.

Once medicated, I can get in a time-check photo.

I have a bad case of bed head, but I don't feel like taking a shower.

Water works too.

Meanwhile, the

I gather up my coffee allotment and go read the news... e-... thingy.

Lady brings in Kona to show me the litter dust she has somehow covered her forehead with.

I finally put something on other than a robe. Ready to go running!

Lady, however, is still not feeling very human.

So I grab the new(!) cat toy and make the cats do backflips and other insane acrobatics.

...I did warn you about the cat photos.

Once Kona is worn out, I take Lady for a short walk to help clear her head.

We get back and it's after 8, so I postpone running to go grocery shopping before the rest of the world wakes up.

Grocery list gets written.

Not much this week, since we're still swimming in Thanksgiving leftovers.

I make Lady go lie down while I do the grocery shopping. The haul!

I peanut-butter the bagel I got for her and go wake her up. She's feeling much better!

Put away the groceries, fill the coffee jar.

Starting to flag a bit, so I make myself some tea.

Score of the day: super cheap sausage! Instead of questioning why they're so cheap -

- I just go ahead and cook them.

While they're cooking, I have lunch... or rather, breakfast. Leftover greens & tomato frittata with a sprucing of sriracha sauce. Because everything is better with sriracha sauce.

Then we start making the turkey no-noodle soup.

While Lady helps pick apart turkey meats, I assemble the dough for a gf bread experiment.

It looks promising, but maybe I should have put it in a bread pan...

KALE.

More gratuitous cat photos.

I finally give in and change out of my running clothes into something more appropriate.

Because I'm going out!

... to high tea!...

... with

I bring home the leftovers to Lady.

Who has been busy cleaning kale and finishing up my bread. Doesn't look like it rose a second time. Still, it tastes much better than previous attempts, even if the presentation didn't pan out. More like a gluten free flat bread.

Really sleepy from all the food, I make a nest on the floor. Which is immediately invaded by cats.

I give in.

After a short, undocumented nap, I take the rest of my candy corn and some water and re-visit my office.

I unplug the internet and get writing.

Take a break for some hot cocoa.

Back to writing.

Another break, this time for turkey soup.

And I'm still hungry, so I have some honey & gf bread.

Lady has migrated to the table and is transcribing recipe cards.

More writing. Very slow, since I'm trying to tie up all these loose ends.

Take a break to brush teeth.

...and assemble food boxes for tomorrow.

...and feed the

Transfer myself to my netbook and write for a while in bed.

Good night!
