Whew. This weekend was full on weekend action. Lady's mom and co arrived Friday night and it was all out food and street fair and more food and nap and more food and botanical gardens and more food and nap and less food and a sky full of stars, shooting and stationary. It was fun, and I always enjoy hanging with Lady's family, but need a bit of downtime.
Oh, and work time. Didn't get much of that done this weekend, unfortunately. And I only have 26 more days to full on revise 88 pages. Which doesn't sound like all that much, but when it's plot-fixing and I have to sometimes spend an hour staring at the screen going "duuuurh" it tends to stretch out. So I've calculated I need to go at it at a pace of at least four pages a day to finish by May. Four pages! Only four pages. I can do that. Yeah. It'll be like nano, in a way, making this my priority and explicitly carving out time for those edits. Oh, and progress bars! I love progress bars.

Yeah!
I have a ton of photos finally up on flickr, after nearly a month of nothing. They're all from the botantical gardens, for the most part. I may have gone overboard with the butterflies, but this time I actually had a macro lens! Last time I had to take off my 50mm and reverse it to get any macro action. Not nearly as easy.
The guy at the top of this entry is a large lizard, the largest I've yet seen in AZ. It just kind of sat on the tree and let me get closer and closer until I was right in front of him, him sticking is face out like, "what's your problem?" I have no idea what he is - just don't tell me that I was inches away from having my face bitten off.
